October 2024: Hadley, NY, in the Adirondacks
This might be my last 2024 trip into the Adirondacks before the leaves fall. I first stopped at the Conklingville Dam, then to a kayak launch on the banks of the Great Sacandaga Lake. Afterwards, I drove to the Hadley Parabolic Bridge, the only surviving iron lenticular truss bridge in New York. It spans the Sacandaga River and is just outside of Hadley, NY, a town located where the Sacandaga meets the Hudson River.
