All photos during my time in California (2016-2021) were taken with smartphones. For years, I resisted getting a "proper" camera, because I didn't want to risk losing or damaging it on the road. I have gotten over that fear since moving to upstate NY, but I'm still very happy with the photos I took with my humble little smartphones.
